The Sparta 4th of July Parade, celebrated as Sussex County's only Independence Day parade, will be hosted by the Sparta Elks Lodge #2356 on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event will feature marching bands, veterans groups, community organizations, and will coincide with the nation's 250th-anniversary celebration.

Route: Steps off from East Shore Trail, proceeds through White Deer Plaza, and finishes near Mohawk Avenue School/Dykstra Park.

Post-Parade Festivities: Head over to Dykstra Park immediately following the parade for some Greek food, a beer garden, live music, face painting, games, and awards!
